Can I Ship any kind of vehicle into Canada?

No, the Canadian government has many rules and regulations on what vehicles are admissible or non admissible into Canada by AutoShip.

How do I know what vehicle are Admissible or non Inadmissible into Canada from the U.S.?

Check with RIV (Registrar of Imported Vehicles, www.riv.ca) in your province. RIV can assist you on the type of vehicle that is admissible or inadmissible into Canada. The Internet has several agencies who offer answers to many questions on what vehicle may or may not enter into Canada. Make sure you complete this process prior to AutoShipper.

What documents do I need to Ship my vehicle into Canada?

You need the ORIGINAL title, bill of sale, recall letter, registration and a copy of your passport.

What if the vehicle I purchase doesn’t have a title can I still ship my vehicle into Canada?

No, the U.S. Border Customs and Border Protection are very strict when releasing a vehicle into Canada. No ORIGINAL vehicle title means no entry into Canada by VehicleMovers.

What does the U.S. Customs have to do with me importing a vehicle into Canada?

Generally we estimate 10 to 14 days transit time after the pick-up of your vehicle. However, there are several variables like road conditions, weather, and customers’ availability may have a negative impact on the transit time.

The quotes from TexasAutoShipper.com are based on fuel and demand. The quote that is provided to you is good for seven business days. However, TexasAutoShipper.com, reserves the right to adjust any and all quotes.

What if the truck can’t get to my location for pick up of my vehicle?

The truck driver will get as close to your door as is safe and legal as possible. Many cities have restrictions on large trucks that prohibit them from driving into some residential areas. Transport truck are an average of 75 ft. long, weigh about 78,000 lbs., are built low to the ground and need lots of space to maneuver and turn around. If your home is restricted by narrow streets, low-hanging trees, speed bumps or tight turns, the driver may ask you to meet the truck at a different destination or we will arrange a convenient location, like a shopping center or major street crossing, to pick up or deliver your vehicle for AutoShip.

What is the cost for CarTransporter from U.S. to Canada?

Prices are determined on vehicle size, mileage and pick-up and delivery location.

What type of payment is acceptable?

Can I put personal items in my car?

Does my vehicle have insurance when in transit?

Yes. All vehicles are insured with the truck’s cargo insurance and are subject to a deductible. But you still need to have personal insurance on the automobile incase there are damages to the car which was not directly caused by TexasAutoShipper.com.

Can my vehicle be delivered door to door into Canada?

To have your vehicle delivery to your door you need to have a customs broker to clear all of the paper work and sent to the border crossing with the RIV and GST taxes paid on the vehicle prior to crossing the Canadian. We can refer you to our Canada customs broker. This is an extra fee of $100.00-150.00 Canadian money.
